In the Crossroads itself Sonic will appear as normal, but in worlds that do not have anthropomorphic creatures like him, he would be humanized (so if for example he were to visit, say, the Vocaloid world he would appear as a human, but if he were to visit, say, Spira, he would probably appear the same).
